The reservoir bag acts as an oxygen reservoir, allowing the patient to inhale oxygen primarily from the bag. With a recommended oxygen flow of 10–15 l/min, the mask can deliver an inspired oxygen concentration of greater than 80%, depending on the patient's breathing pattern and correct clinical use. This makes it well suited for emergency care, ambulance services, emergency departments, and hospital environments.
The soft anatomical mask is designed to provide a comfortable fit while creating an effective seal to reduce the entrainment of room air. Supplied with a 2.1 m oxygen tube and a universal connector, the mask is compatible with standard oxygen outlets and is ready for immediate use in both prehospital and clinical settings.
