At Ferno Norden, we have experience in assessing and assembling the level and breadth of first aid products. We have developed flexible units that can be mounted on walls and quickly used when needed.

Ongoing Life-Threatening Violence (PLIVO) and Stop-The-Bleed

PLIVO and STB are terms that are becoming more common. Large gatherings of people are a risk factor that more and more organizers are taking into account. Being able to stop severe bleeding is a life-changing action that must happen as quickly as possible after an injury.

The right equipment that is easy to use and at the same time effective. We package customized solutions for ambulances, police, emergency services, schools, and sports facilities.

Evacuation

Today, it's a given that sports facilities are accessible to everyone. What do we do when we need to evacuate quickly, such as during a fire alarm? If the elevators can't be used? If someone falls and injures themselves during evacuation and can't walk on their own?

We offer several solutions for safely and ergonomically transporting people up and down stairs or out of confined areas.

Water Rescue

Getting an injured or unconscious person out of the water can be challenging without the right equipment. Suspected injuries from activities like diving can pose additional demands on handling. For water rescue, we have unique products developed in collaboration with users, such as the Pool Extrication Board (PXB) and Ferno XT Floating Stretcher, which help secure the neck and back.

We also have products to prevent hypothermia.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR/AED)

Having an automated external defibrillator (AED) available at sports facilities or clubs is almost standard today. We offer quality solutions with built-in self-tests, smart storage, and clear labeling. Continuous training in CPR is important to maintain knowledge.

Movement Restriction, Stabilization, and Fixation

Stretchers

Being able to move an injured person as gently as possible often requires the use of a stretcher. This can range from a simple stretcher or backboard to collapsible scoop stretchers or rescue stretchers. Do we need to be able to move an injured person to a safer location while waiting for help?
