If the electric track system cannot be used due to local conditions, the stretcher version ALS 328 PTX is the ideal alternative. The track system is removable and can be easily clicked onto the stretcher when needed. In the vehicle, the track system is securely stored in the specialized wall mount WH-PTX.
Based on the basic model ALS 328, the 328 PTX is equipped with an electrically driven track system. With a simple handle, the tracks are unfolded. At the push of a button, the user can determine whether to go up or down stairs. The unique feature of this stretcher is the small yet powerful electric motor that drives the track system. With a fully charged battery, it can overcome up to 800 steps with a patient weighing approximately 110 kg.
The stair gliding function is possible downwards even without the motor, meaning no lifting is required.
The stretcher is easy to maneuver in tight spaces, thanks to the swiveling wheels at the front and a guide bar that is adjustable in 4 positions.
The Milwaukee® battery is easy to replace. The charger with a 220 V power connection is also suitable for installation in the vehicle (with voltage converter).
When used in conjunction with the floor mounting systems from the BH 501 E, BH 501 M, BH 501 AIR, or BH 501 AIR-A series, patients can be transported in a seated position within the vehicle on the stretcher.
The seat padding cover is available in black as standard.
Please Note: Utila stretchers with PowerTraxx™ track system, as well as ALS 428 and ALS 328 F stretchers, may only be used as the rear-most seat in the vehicle.
