The splint is made from soft, mouldable aluminium and padded on both sides for increased patient comfort. It is radiolucent, allowing X-ray examinations to be performed without removing the splint.
Flex Splint can easily be cut to size for smaller injuries and is designed for repeated use. It can be cleaned using standard disinfectant solutions or washed with mild soap. After cleaning, it can be flattened or rolled up again for continued use.
