Germa Evacuation Straps Step by Step Black 2.0

Step by Step is an ergonomic strap system designed for transferring and evacuating patients in a lying position on level surfaces and stairs. Used together with a compatible transfer mattress, vacuum mattress or mini stretcher, it helps operators achieve safe and controlled patient movement.

Step by Step is a valued accessory in ambulance services, where equipment must be practical to use even in confined spaces and demanding situations.

Version 2.0 features updated black ergonomic handles, easier-to-use carabiners and longer control straps. A compact fabric foot and storage bag makes the system easy to store and keep readily accessible.

Germa Evacuation Straps Step by Step Black 2.0

Step by Step attaches to the designated handles of the mattress or mini stretcher, allowing operators to control movement from both the head and foot ends. Multiple attachment points with D-rings on the control straps make it easy to adjust the working length to suit the operators and the situation.

The ergonomic handles provide a secure grip, while the new carabiners simplify attachment. The longer control straps offer greater flexibility in adjusting working positions during patient transfer.

The foot bag helps keep the patient's feet in position and also serves as a storage bag for the entire strap system. After use, the bag folds up and closes with a buckle. A strap with a hanging loop on the underside allows convenient storage.

When moving down stairs, operators work together from the head and foot ends to guide the mattress and control the speed. On stair landings, the mattress's sliding surface is used to manoeuvre it around corners. The adjustable control straps allow the working length to be adapted to the operators and available space.
