Airway Management and Suction
Airway management and suction involve mastering basic airway maneuvers such as opening the airway, using a bag-valve-mask device, and inserting an oropharyngeal airway. Blocked airways pose a significant threat to many acute medical patients, and unfortunately, the result can be brain damage due to the inability to maintain open airways. Oxygenation and carbon dioxide removal are crucial. Ferno Norden offers, among other things, hand-operated suction devices, which are a clear advantage when infrastructure is lacking.
